Inspire Junub is a youth development initiative focused on empowering, connecting and creating opportunities for South Sudanese youth. Our initiatives provide educational support, mentorship, exposure to technology and entrepreneurship, and opportunities for young people to develop and pursue their own ideas.
The work runs through three programs — the Innovation Summit, Guardian Angels and Junub Code — each addressing a different place where potential goes unmet. Together they aim at one thing: young people with the skills, confidence and connections to change their own communities.
Skills, mentorship and the confidence to act — delivered in person, by people who have done the work.
Students to mentors, mentors to students, and both to the organisations able to take an idea further.
Opportunities that did not exist before: a summit, a scholarship, a hackathon, a first line of code.
